EAGLE INTELLIMAP 500C - info?

hi nova, i have a 502c. its my first plotter on my first boat. basic functions are fine for me ( coastal areas) I am just trying to connect it to a DSC radio. Easy screen to look at so for me although its a slightly different model it gets a thumbs up. Hope this helps. Scotty

I had a 502C too, and do not know how close it is to a 500C. It had a nice color screen, and a SD slot for map chips. The two complaints I had:

- Internal GPS receiever (not upgradable to ext) would take a long time to aquire sats and could loose lock by me leaning over unit.

- Would power-off on engine starting. This was not a wiring issue, (but maybe a individual unit issue) and powered more hungry electronics from same terminal.


The two combined to make stop and go fishing a pain. I decided that my HB combo was more than enough and did not require a seperate gps unit, and sold it.
