I am buying a fish finder very soon. I had pretty much decided on a humminbird 200DX or a 300TX but I have read many negative comments on this board. Is there an advantage with the Eagle Fish Easy that the humminbird doesn't have? I am buying one tomorrow for a couple fishing trips at the end of the week, please help me make the right decision.

Thanks,

Shane

Rex,

Did you have any trouble with the display fogging up like some people have been talking about? Or have they improved the units in recent days? I don't want to spend the money on a unit only to have it be difficult to see

Shane

There is a big difference. One works-one doesn't.

Go Eagles!

Ahoy, Turtle. I have had very good results with a FishEasy, and have heard many complaints about Hummers.

Red sky at night. . .

JB :)

from past experience, the salt will eat that hummingbird up. Had an Eagle for about 5 years on saltwater...no bad life for constant use. Not badmouthing Hummingbirds, you just may want to try something else...
