OK, I have a friend that just replaced his plugs in his 93 Ocean Runner 200 with the new E3 spark plugs. I went out with him for a ride, We both have the same boat & engine except mine is a 1994. (currently being rehabbed):)
I swear the motor sound better then ever & gained about 250 rpm, WOT it's running 5900. does not smoke as much as before and after trolling for 2 hrs we removed a couple of plugs and there was NO sigh on fouling. Here is the big one gained 4.5 mph GPS.
My question is are these plugs going to damage the outboard or are they safe?

As long as the plugs are the right size they should work great. I have these plugs in my truck and love them. I picked up about 1 MPG on the highway with them they also reduced engine rumbling while idleing. Bottom line if it says they are the right size and are made for your engine i would definatly put the plugs in.
