my 94 ranger has a beat up bumper & license plate from backin' up to hitch-up. goin' to sell the ranger an body's in perfect condition except for that..<br /><br />my new G M C . safari .. i had installed a class 2 ' HIDDEN HITCH ' .. let me say it's truley is hidden ,,100 % happy with it.. totally outta sight...<br /><br />but since i had it ( a month).. already BANGED the heck outta my bumper from backin'/hookin' up...!!<br /><br />saw a fishin' show & a commerical was for a web page e-z hitch i called & ordered & recieved it & used it .. an believe me fellas.. it's the best money you could spend .. it really works ..!!!<br /><br />it gets CRAB BAIT'S stamp of approveal...

Never seen one of those...Looks cool. Also, a lot cheaper than what I use - an 11 yr old <br /><br />BL...

Crab...is that the widest one they have? If it is I don't think it'll work for me... <br /><br />By the way...if you don't put something through the hole in that flipper on the trailer hitch it will sure beat the he** out of your tailgate when it jumps off the ball. Good thing I had the chains on though......

Ahoy, CB.<br /><br />Looks like it works good and protects your truck.<br /><br />After coughing up a kilobuck to get dents and scrapes fixed on my ML I bought a simple gadget on Ebay ($10) that hooks onto the hitch and the ball with telescoping rods on both. Simply install them (15 sec.) back the truck up until the two rods meet and viola!, lower the hitch onto it. <br /><br />These things go on and off in seconds and fold up into the glove box. Go to boat trailers on ebay.

whatdoyano... that's pretty neat... <br /><br />it never fails.. evertime i buy somethin' i hear about somethin' else either better or cheaper or both...<br /><br />your not goin' to believe this but it's true... i've never been to E-BAY,,ever.. don't know why just haven't.. <br /><br />but i'm goin' there now.

JB..is the the ones called Hitch Finder with the rods like a radio antenna and the white balls on top? Looks like it would work. Wish I had it before I dented up my wildlife tag.<br />Thanks for the heads up! Here is what I found<br /> E-bay
