Just had powerhead rebuilt, #1 cylinder imploded. rebuilder told me that it starved of fuel at high speed, check my high speed jet in #1 carb.
Rebuilt all the carbs, just afraid to run at high speed once I finish the break-in procedure.
Question is: how can I tell if the carbs are all working correctly without burning up another cylinder?

You can normally tell how a motor is performing by taking plug readings.

Simple------A strong flashlight and shine it into the carburetor bores at full throttle.----You will be able to see if that same carburetor is plugged !---Did you find an issue with the # 1 carburetor ??

Remember that this has a X flow intake that the carb on right(looking at intake) feeds #1. Also index flywheel and test for proper timing on ALL cylinders as it could be a possible pack/trigger problem

Thanks, did not find an issue with the #I. I will check the timing and the flow at full throttle next time out. I have a friend that has a boat ramp at his house and can leave it on the trailer to run the test.
