Re: dynaplane hull
Many years ago (back in the 60's) Popular mechanics had a artical about what was being called "dynaplanes" it consisted of a v shaped wedge glued on the bottom of the hull. about 1/3 of the way from the back. The idea behind it was that it creates bubbles reducing friction on the bottom of the boat. My dad tried it on the bottom of our Crosby that had been converted to a fishing boat (no deck) with a 10 hp merc on it it really flew. I have no Idea if it has any thing to do with what you are looking for.
