Duratech boat

I will soon be replacing my 1964 duratech orion with a 1981 starcraft,which I will restore during the winter.
The duratech is a bit too close to my heart to just scrap.If you know someone who is into duratechs please send me a private message.

Rolmops, I have a very good friend that restored his dads 1964 18' I/O and there is a good site on the internet just type in www.duratechboats.com and it will come up there is alot of info on the site and you can PM the owner here on iboats he goes by, imported JoeMan his names Joseph Mansueto and has been very helpful.

Joe, as you an see that was a labor of love. He even built a mold to recast the Duratech Logo

Yes, he did a very fine job, I need to say something more to him about the emblem job...he really saved it and it will hopefully see more generations. It's always a pleasure to see these older classics (Duratech or not) that folks have restored. Mine was basically scrap material which had more potential value by the pound...until I found it. My family barely saw me for 3 months during the resto.
