Duplex cable for 1981 25hp electric start

Guys,

I'd like to replace my electric start cable. What have you guys used for cable? I can put on my own ends. Looked at McMaster for bulk cable by the foot and they probably have what I need if I know what to order. Mainly what I don't know is the wire gage. But if you know a specific cable that would be even better.

I just went to my local auto parts store and bought cable by the foot, I took in a piece to compare size. I think it was #4 cable, but don't hold me to it.

Yep, I bought a set of 4ga jumper cables and put battery lugs on the ends. They worked great.
