I went to put in this weekend at Amon G. Carter. The ramp is plenty wide enough for 2, but the guys putting in didn't look like they new what they were doing so I kept my distance and waited. When the guy went to park the truck I started backing in. And the other guy circled around with the boat, He beached that nice new skeeter bass boat ON the concrete ramp beside me! I cringed at the thought of Fiberglas grinding up the ramp lol. I looked up and the guy parking the truck is now running towards his boat, so the guy in the boat panicked and baked back out. He was driving it like you would back a truck, when he got to close he turned the wheel the other way and gunned it. Then he pivoted right into me, HARD!
I pulled back up to have a look, Nothing was damaged the rub rail did its job. I'm just lucky his boat was just the right height. They never even said a word to me just got in and took off. No "sorry man, my bad" or "Did anything get hurt?"
I wasn't to concerned if my wake disturbed them when the were fishing. Its a small lake and I ran back and forth and back and forth while getting my timing and mixture dialed in :heh:
