Pet peeve here.<br /><br />It's DUC T tape not "duck" tape.<br /><br />It's used to tape up ducts, as in HVAC, not ducks that are eaten or migrate.

Duct tape saved my bacon once. I was canoeing a remote northeastern Oregon river about 5 years ago in a very old and worn out f/g canoe. There were 2 other canoes and 4 more people. I was the lead at a time when I got sidewise to a rock that broke my canoe in half. Lost alot of the gear, but got the boatparts back and dried, 2 roll duct tape later had it patched together goood enough to take a couple more days on the river. Chief <br />don't go anywhere without it.
