I just installed a dual steeering cable connector kit on my '86 Johnson 120. The kit clamps to the motors tilt tube. So far so good except that when I tilt the motor the tilt-tube dosn't move the motor just pivots around the tube, seems to be designed that way, so the kit clamp is slid around the tube. This dosn't seem right. Anyone ever set-up dual cable steering on a similar motor?
