Dual electronic horns

Hi everyone
Recently purchased a 2002 Sea Ray 185 to replace my 88 sea ray seville 18/ob. My problem is the dual horns are not working & I can't seem to find replacements. The Sea Ray part number is 1413475 series 84. All the sites I've tried only have the single horn & there's already a cut out for my style. I found a image of the horn from an earlier post, since my picture file was to large to upload. Any advise will be appreciated' I really don't want to have the horn opening fiber glassed. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried to put a voltmeter on the 2 wires to see if there's power there? Maybe it's just a fuse, have you checked that?

Thanks for your response MikDee. Yea checked all that out first & there's power getting to the horns. The one horn has a very low buzz, the other nothing. But you can hear something rattling inside & of course there molded to the frame & sealed so taking them apart is not an option.

I have a crazy idea, you may try if you want? Chances are that there is debri in the horns, maybe even mud daubers. I would say get a coupla cans of computer air, and spay the inside good so it freezes up anything that maybe in there, then shake them out good. I doubt if it would hurt the mechanism, but I bet youll get something out of there. What do you have to lose?

Hey MikDee Sorry for such a late reply, been supper busy. Anyway, there was nothing in the horns. I ended up getting a single horn that was wide enough to fit the opening. All I had to do was use a hole saw in the center of the 2 cut outs & it fit right in, took maybe 1/2hr total now it's working fine. Thanks for you advise. Have a great 4th.

I have the same problem. Did you ever find the OEM horn?

@pakram - which horn did you end up using? Same issue. Happy to do some cutting to widen that space. Just not sure what horn to get. Also, what tool did you use to cut out the center of the cavity? Thx
