Dual 4 blade?

How much would I notice a difference from my current setup to the one I'm looking at? Mercruiser 5.7 260hp, currently only gets to 4200rpm WOT. Motor is rated at 4800. Slow to plane

What drive is behind it,..??

What Vintage are we talkin',..??

What pitch props are on it now,..??

get back with Bondo's ?'s.. what your proposing seem headed in the right direction.. guessing you don't have enough prop(s)- ie to much pitch, dropping down with two 4 blades should solve your slow to plane issue.. bunch more punch to push you out of the hole with 4 blade set up...

Sorry guys...it's a 5.7 Mercruiser, 260hp TBI, Monterey Cruiser 262. 26ft. Bravo 3 outdrive. Current prop SS 26p 3 blade.
