Hi all,

I was wondering would you have advice on the below,

I have a 1990 Suzuki DT65 with 125psi in all 3 cylindere, checked for spark when running which ai think is not giving full power as per video attached

I have twice removed the carbs and blown them out , new primer bulb, checked the fuel pump to see that it is working and not punctured, also I checked the primer bulb when running and was not collapsing,

I think the key here is to listen to the video of it today, it sounds like it is going up and down slowly in the revs as i go down the river,

I gave it full throttle and it cut out on me once, i never adjusted the air/fuel screws on it, could it be that.... i did replace the 3 spark plugs

Any ideas would be great thanks

do you have a tach?
RPM is a good thing to be able to see, so you know what it is doing not just guessing
has it ever run well with that prop and load?

cleaning carbs is not just blowing them out.
Do you know if that motor and boat load along with the prop the correct ones for what you have?

so how did yu check for spark on all 3 plugs when running at that RPM?

It would appear that you are not running on all cylinders. You need to check for GOOD spark jump. Get a measurable spark plug tester.

Also, you should pull up your kicker motor when traveling.

Thanks very much for the replies

I tried to pull up the kicker but it wouldn't come up

I will have a look at the spark plugs again and see if that is what the problem is when running
