I have a 1992 DL200 two stroke that has been giving me troubles past couple of years. It can be a little hard to start wanting to die after several seconds until warm. Once warm it will idle fine but as soon as you advance the throttle it will go rough then die sometimes having a lean cough. It will die at least a dozen times until the engine gets hot. Once you can get it past the midrange from 3000 rpm's up it runs fine. After I get to the fishing area it will run in the midrange ok, once the engine is good and hot.
I've disassembled and cleaned all the carbs twice once last year and again this year never changed. I just live with it. Haven't sinked the carbs just matched throttle plates.
Any ideas?
