DT 2 Telltale output

My DT 2 runs great but almost no water comes out of the telltale holes. I can keep my hand on the head and it is not hot by any means.How much water should be coming out of the two holes which I guess to be the telltale.

Check to make sure that the tell tale is not stopped up by any debris. I have had many engines that did not have any flow or a slow flow that were still cooling properly. I run a small diameter rod back and forth into the tell tale and it almost always removes the debris. I have twice had to remove the tell tale hose and had to blow it out with an air compressor.

make sure that little motor has a tell tail and where it is located before worrying about it

Thanks for the suggestion, Killoy. I had a very similar problem with my 2001 DF50 and the compressed air worked like a charm- way better than using a piece of wire!
