Droid phone and Photobucket?

Hey guys, I know this isn't an iboats site issue necessarily. It seems to be a photobucket on droid phone issue.

So when photobucket "upgraded":facepalm: a little while back, my EVO phone stopped showing photobucket hosted photos. It just gives me that little blue box with the question mark. I'm just running the Droid stock browser.

So, what's up, did I miss a patch or something? I keep thinking it would be an auto update or something but it's been a few weeks now.

This would be an issue with your phone's browser settings. Or the photos you are trying to view have been removed. Do you have an example of a photo you can see on a pc that you can not see on your phone?

Yah, the stock browser is the one that's the issue. I downloaded Firefox and they show fine there, but, the stock droid browser runs much faster.

Basically any photobucket hosted photo won't show on that droid browser.

No doubt a droid browser and photobucket compatibility issue. Any of you guys getting that problem?

I searched around and apparently photobucket just doesn't work with Android. They recommend downloading a new browser. I wonder if anyone else is having the issue and has found a solution

Yah, thanks for checking Tony, that's about what my search turned up too.

Looks like I'll try the new browser route.
