I had a pier pop out today while I was work. It's hooked to one corner of my floating boat lift so it's not going anywhere, but I'm not sure what to do about it. It's in about 6' of water. Right now it is just kind of bobbing around out there. Took the boat off and sunk the lift just in case, but any ideas on how I might can DIY fix it, or am I going to have to call someone for help on this one?

Jake, post a few pics so we can see what you have. You say it popped out...are you sure it did not break under the water?

Depends on how you installed it. Was it driven into the bottom or was it water jetted in?

When you reset the pier......... get some rebar to stich out and place concrete around it. Concrete will cure under water and help add support.
