On average how long do the bellows last, I am going on 8 years now in the salt water for 6 months a year. They look good as far as I can tell. But would it be time to replace them?

Thanks I guess
The ALTERNATIVE:
If the bellows goes bad in salt water, you end up loosing the gimbal bearing and ujoints for sure, then salt water gets in the drive because the yoke rusted and the rust took out the seal, as water gets in the drive, oil gets out....... drives don't last long when run with water as a replacement for the gear lube.

Good Point. Thats why I started this post, Now just to figure out how to do the work. A bellows kit with bearing is 99.00 and the labor is free.
Thanks
