I removed my 1996 DP-S 1.95 outdrive for yearly servicing. This is the first year with this boat/drive, so everything is new to me. In the VP shop manual for the drive (page 6-3) it mentions something about retaining the grounding clips when removing the bushings for the hydraulic trim cylinder support rod. I didn't see any grounding clips on mine. Now I am ready to put the drive back on and wondering if I need these ground clips? Does anyone know what the manual is referring to? It mentions them again on page 6-6 as a note for the the reassembly. The picture doesn't show the clips, and they are only mentioned in passing. I looked around online at the schematics and didn't see anything showing grounding clips. Any suggestions?
