Re: dont know prop to use
If you reaad the stickies at the top of the page and the helps on the prop store page
it will help you understand why we need more info.
You may be able to contact SeaRay for prop selection.
At the risk of being argumentative. You do know more.
You know if its a bowrider or a cuddy or center console.
If you look at the motor there is probably a label with the max rated rpm.
There also may be a label on the motor or outdrive with the gear ratio.
There are literally thousands of types and sizes of boats. If I told you I have a 77
Crestliner voyager 18 could you tell me what it is.
Anyway I looked up your boat. Not listed by Seville but I found a 17 ft I/O
Weighs 1900 lbs. My guess is you need a 19" aluminum prop.
Look up the application by the motor size and year.Don't worry about the diameter it follows the design. This will get you close
You will have to check your rpm. If it can't come close to its rated max rpm with a light load you will need to reduce the pitch if it over revs you will need to increase pitch or don't exceed the rpm rating. After reading the stickies I think you'll see that there are many types, sizes and materials of props. We can get into that after you have a base line with your new prop.
