Dont Ever Break The Windshield On Your Regal Or Any Other Boat For That Matter.

The Mfr Bluebonnet Who Makes Most Of The Marine Glass Is Screwed.
Laying Off Most Employees, Merging W/ Taylor Glass And Moving Facility To New York.

They Are Unable To Get Any Glass For Boats That Are More Then A Few Years Old.

I Am Going To Have To Get An Acrylic Replacement Fabricated As My Only Option Costing Upwards Of 1200.00 Because No One
Makes Or Has A Replacement In This Country. So If Your Boat Gets Damaged In A Storm, Crash Or Vanadlism
Your Screwed Like Me.

Makes me feel better about having an old boat. All the glass is flat panel.

I guess I can trade looking cool for low cost glass. Of course, sometimes I trade looking cool for "haven't seen that part in 15 years, dunno where you'll get one" which isn't so good. :)

This is so true. My friend has a 10 year old formula boat with a wrap around windshield. A branch came down last winter and broke one of the side panels and the cheapest price he got to replace it was something like $2,000

yep, not much you can do except bite the bullet. If I manage to break an entire windshield I will just look for another boat like mine buy the whole thing and part it out.
be cheaper in the long run.

There are curved glass windshields available right here on iboats. But you have to order the entire windshield. No individual parts available.

you might be able to form your own windshield. A lot of experimental aircraft builders do it. See if their is a local chapter of the experimental aircraft association in you area they should be able to help you out or at least point you in the right direction.
