Can you tell me which trim ram was replaced on my boat under warranty. If so what info do you need. Here is the serial # off the motor that had the ram replaced. I just can't remember which ram (port or starboard) was replaced and need to replace the other due to water getting into the system.

I never found anything on the trim rams. In Novemeber 2002, they did show replacing a trim pump because the drive wouldn't stay up, but nothing on the rams.

Thanks for looking. The business that did the ram was in New Orleans and is no longer there (KATRINA) so I can't call and ask. The origional pump was actually replaced because of water intrusion (by a different dealer). Never had a problem with the drive staying up, go figure. They fixed the symptoms and not the cause. Guess I'll buy two and maybe end up with a spare.

Some times the paperwork doesn't match the actual job. Making codes work can be fun at times. I have also seen dealers actually forget to turn in a warranty claim on fixes. They also don't do registrations or anyother paper work and end up going broke....... Go figure
