Re: Doh!!

My favorite boat when I had a half dozen kids and their mom fishing with me was a 16' Quacita flat bottom bass boat. It had gunwales about 10 inches wide full of foam. The whole fam damily could hang over one side and it would list about 5?.

I've had a 13' Meyer V bottom for years, worked OK for Dad and I fishing.
Then I got married and now have 3 young Daughters. The Meyer didn't fit
any more.
Then I got a 16' Smoker Craft Big Jon.
When the Police officer came to do a "VIN" check He commented on how
big the boat was and My 5yr old Daughter looked up and told him " It's
gonna be Not So Jiggily"
God bless the little ones!

We have a 12' Livingston for fishing and love it because it's so stable.

Re: Doh!!

I have made the mistake of moving too many people forward on a pontoon before... That was of course while teaching a motor boating class, so I managed to use it as a good example of what NOT to do. I didn't have a problem leveling the boat the rest of that week.
