Dog (blind but young) accidents upstairs????

I dont get it, he may drag a shoe to top of stairs, all bedroom doors closed, and he's pooped there twice this week??? I put him outside last pm, he's 1.5 yrs old, I did remove all toys from that spot, cleaned and put carpet freshener there, he knows to go in back yard, why has he never barked to get out? Hasnt had accident in months

he most likely had an accident once in the area. he can smell the area, and will continue to go there.

best you can do, is possibly keep him in a crate while you are away?

Put up a kiddie gate so he can't go upstairs.

that's what we do for our's. gate off the upstairs and they have a doggie door that goees to an outdoor 12 x 12 kennel for potty breaks or sunning in the summer.
