doesnt get up and go like it used too

hey all<br />I have a 97 kawasaki 900 stx. The problem im having is that it doesnt pull me out of the water as fast as it used too. The rpm's are high. And once it does plane it goes pretty good but not as fast as it used too though. Now i should probably mention that i noticed this after i hit a small rock mound that was about a foot under the water. There were no markers to show these rocks were there. Anyways i had to swim it back to shore put it up on the trailer and dig rocks out of the impellar. And thats the story. What could be up with it?

bent the impeller or messed up the liner as well cavitation sounds like the problem,, pull the pump and have it looked at if you need an impeller check with joe at parts@jetkingparts.com
