Does this seem right?

I got a new prop, here is what I accomplished...
3.0 merc i.o 140hp
1.98 gear ratio (unless someone changed it)
17px14 5/8 prop
4800 RPM
16.5 ft boat with a 1750lbs dry weight
Full 16 gallon tank
700ish lbs of people/gear
against the ohio current
31 mph on gps.
That gives me 20ish % prop slip

Does the prop slip seem excessive? or was it the weight in the boat and going against the current?

Nope, that seems about right for those circumstances.

I'd like to see the empty rpm and speed in both directions.
