Does my 94 Yamaha Waverunner III have overheat indication/alarm?

Does the 1994 Yamaha Waverunner III (700 engine) have overheat indication? Alarm or buzzer or any other over heat condition reporting? I have a service manual but not an operators manual and see that it has a "thermoswitch" but how do I know when it is overheating?

The thermoswitch acts as sort of a rev limiter. Like a limp home on a car. You wont be able to go much faster than an idle if you are running hot. No audible alarms that i know of.
