First off I would like to say hello to everyone as i am relatively new to this Forum.
The motor is a 1988 Mercury 80HP 2-stroke 3 cylinder
My question is that i am wondering if it matters which float bowl of my 3 carbs that the enricher is getting fuel from. I originally had the fuel enricher getting fuel from the top carb #1. After having a mechanic work on the boat he switched the float bowls 1 and 3 so now my enricher is getting fuel from the bottom carb #3 which is below the enricher.
I am trying to figure out if the fuel enricher is gravity fed and whether this would make a difference or not that it is now connected to the bottom carb below the enricher rather than the top where it was above it.The mechanic that i was working with said that it doesn't make a difference but i am doubting this for some reason and thought that i could go on here and get some advice from others.It would be a huge help!
