Does anyone know where you can order impellers by dimensions?

Hi there,

I ordered the listed impeller according to the serial number etc for my Yamaha/Mariner 8 hp and when it arrived (from the UK which was the only place I could get it!!!) it was too big across the shaft center hole. I'm probably going to have a guess at the one for the next serial model up but I'm a bit unsure...

Does anyone know where you can get the specifications for various Yamaha impellers?

depending on the year, its most likely a tohatsu motor. and if I recall correctly, there are two impellers offered - each with a different shaft diameter. there should be a caution - measure first warning.

I've run into situations like this before, and your best bet is probably to take the old impeller to a dealer and have it matched up. Once you have the right part number, you're golden going forward.
