Does anyone know what the value of a 1999 honda 4-stroke OB....

I have aquired it and a variety of other boating items and I was hoping to recover some of my investment since it is too large a motor for my 12 ft aluminum boat and I also have a 6 hp Johnson that I am planning on keeping. The 15 hp Honda has less than 8 hrs run time, has never seen salt water before and looks brand new. Any ideas from those that deal in this field would be appreciated. TIA.

i just purchased one for 2500.oo you can go to nada.com and click on boats then on outboards and check their

Be very careful with the NADA info though.

For instance, I punched in a 2002 Honda BF50 into NADA's site and it gave me the average retail at $2800.
Last Febuary I sold mine on Craigs List to the first responder for $4200.

We both knew what it was really worth.
