Hey all,
So i have a 2001 evinrude 115....I am getting a check engine light, and from past experiences i know this can mean a wide array of things. I know the first step is to hook it up to a computer to have the error codes read to try and narrow it down (if possible) BUT everyone wants $100 just to plug it in. Does anyone in the northern IL area have a way or their own setup to read this stuff? and willing to help? or know someone for cheap?? Seems sooo ridiculous to have to pay $100 just to have it read. I know i may have to bring it in anyway when the error code is just some vague one, but sometimes a guy can luck out right !! haha...
