Maybe inquire/search more specific for your river or boating area...like ICW, St. Johns River, Jacksonville, Tampa areas, etc.....We cruise the St. Johns River from Palatka to Sanford...some nice places to see, visit, overnight, swim, dive, etc...Good Luck!

Look for a Cruising Guide to southwest Florida. These will list marinas, restaurants as well as having useful charts for the area. Although I haven't used them for this particular area, they've been most handy in other locations.

Pelican Alley and Pop's in Nokomis have docks. In Tampa, you can dock at the Convention Center, walk (within eye sight) to the trolley station, ride to Ybor City, and go to the Spaghetti Warehouse.
Harpoon Harry's in Punta Gorda has a dock.

Re: Dockside dining

Does anyone publish a list of restaurants with tie up facilities in Florida?

Frfly,

I'm based in Madeira Beach, and would love to have an up to date publication of the boat in restaurants on the west coast, but not sure anything is current.

We have a lot up our way, but change too often so local knowledge is nice.

I patronize Wahoos, and Seabrease, both at the entrance to the narrows by market 27 (or marker 1 in the narrows), limited docking, but never had an issue, and The Pub (lots of docks and great place) around marker 27A in Indian Shores. There's many south of me, but I'm not current on them....

Not sure if you are aware of Active Captain software or not. It has a pretty extensive list of just about everything. I use it with Garmin Bluechart app on my Ipad and it is great and free.

Al The Wop's in Walnut Grove on the Sacramento River, CA. The Food's good and it's a historic old place, with $1 bills pinned to the walls waiting for the WW II military to come back and claim their free drink.
