I've been slalom skiing for over ten years now but I never picked up dock starting. Any tips or videos I should watch to learn how? Nobody REALLY likes deep water starting and I think dock starting would be a neat trick :D Plus the deep water start saps a bunch of strength before you've even started skiing!

I think in a way it looks easier than Deep water start. Let 10-15 feet of slack and time it right when the boat picks up slack.

You don't even have to get wet.

Single ski Too, No problem. Jump in when the line picks up slack. It is a matter of practice and timing is everything.

You need to jump in BEFORE the line runs out of slack. That is the key.
