Do we have gas???

Iam ashame to say that I ran out of gas in my 20 foot Proline with a 55 Gallon tank. Why???<br />I FORGOT!!! I got everything else: Soda, chips, sandwitches, ice, bait, chum, tackle, rods, 2 batteries, lights, swimming trunks, diving gear, anchor, radio, fish/depht finder, G.P.S., towels,licenses, all coast guard equipment, wife, ******s, lubricants, suntan oil, Search light, Brushes, cleaners, fresh water, radio, c.ds,2 anchors ect.....<br /><br />But.......... I forgot to Gas up and at 9:00 A.M in the most beatiful day of the year...2 feet or less...the motor turned of!!!!!! and the most chilling questions was asked:<br />DID YOU FILL THE TANK???? then again: DID YOU FILL THE TANK??? After a long review of my preparation for this trip...I realized...I FORGOT TO GAS UP!!!!

We all have a claim to fame, were you off shore?<br /><br />I once did that exact thing, luckly it was on a small lake and I used the trolling motor to get back.<br /><br />Bet you will remember next time. <br /><br />DC

I do the same thing when going on vacation. My solution is a Palm PDA with a program called Happy Shopper. It lets you make shopping lists where you can check off what you need and have. It also has the ability to make a permantent list so you don't have to write everything down. I make a list called vacation or boat. In there, I have everything I need. I check each item off as it is packed. I also put in the jobs I have to get done before I leave like "Put weekend fish feeder in fish tank", "Fill outboard motor tank with gas." It works great and is free. With Palms being $99 and free HandyShop software, I have my killer app.

where did you find that program. My mother just gave me her Palm 505 because she lost the instruction book and couldn't figure out how to use it!<br /><br />Took me a while until I found the palm site and downloaded the instructions. Called her and told her about it. She said she gave me "that thang" for nothing, but for me to keep it because she doesn't have time for it. now I need more programs!
