I’ve got a Sea Ray 2007 Sundeck 240 w 350 mag mpi engine/bravo3 outdrive. ECM module is 0501, engine SN is OW665845. I’m looking for the DLC connector on the engine, just wondering where it’s located and the type of pin configuration.

Thanks

Hum, I think I just saw this or your same question on Mercruiser Facebook page.🤔🤫 😀
Often you may find a white tag wrapped around the DLC wire harness that reads “depth transducer” as they are the same connector when utilized… to help with this visual, see bottom of page 3 of /5 of the following link,

Do you disconnect the depth transducer to connect the scan tool to the DLC connector?
Yes, you'd need to disconnect it to plug in a scan tool that fits that design connector.

Seems you may have smart craft ran depth gauge connected and being used? Sometimes it's roughly a 70/30 chance of actually being installed by say a manufacturer, dealer, etc. and used.

What scan tool system model do you have to connect to read the engine?

My son got me the Techmate Pro for Christmas. If he wasn’t 30 I’d ground him for spending his money so foolishly 😏 Actually I was really touched, it’s a very professional tool and it looks like Mercury uses the same thing with their name slapped on it. I’ve been scratching my head and straining it too trying to find the connector on the engine, it wasn’t until your reply that I realized it wasn’t a capped connector but it actually hooked up to the depth sounder. Lots of info on the internet touches on this, but this post made the lightbulb come on.

Thanks!
