D.Reese,<br /><br />I am not absolutely certain that the oil could cause your condition. I do know that the electro-shifts were sensative to the type of oil for numerous reasons.<br /><br />You stated that you "flipped" the clutch dog. That is important. By doing so, you put a fresh edge on the shift mechanism-it should stay in gear.<br /><br />The other possibility is an electrical problem in that the solonoids are not working correctly.<br /><br />I also believe that OMC later stated that their brand (OMC Systematched "Hi-Vis") was Ok for electro-shifts. I could be wrong on that.<br /><br />I would defer to Joe Reeves on this one. I suggest you hail him on this board-he is a great wealth of OMC knowledge.
