Divider For Rear Storage Compartment on Chaparral 21SSI

I've got a 2024 Chaparral 21SSI. There are 2 rear storage compartments under the large flip up cushion. These compartments are not separated from the engine. Does anyone know of a divider to keep the gear away from the engine compartment? Thanks.

Mine aren't either on my '17 19H2O. Poor design choice by Chap...but one less thing to remove prior to any engine work being done.

The FourWinns in my signature used a couple pieces of snap in vinyl - same as what was used on the seats - to keep things from flopping into the engine. Bet you could do something similar.

Or use totes that are anchored to the floor. Just be sure you know where and what you are drilling into...
