Distillery makes the strongest nip: and the US spy on them!

Read this story during the week: strongest malt whisky and it sounds like it might be quite a nice wee dram <br /><br />Apparently three "nips" could be fatal <br />although I suspect it might be the bar bill that could kill you rather than the alcohol!<br /><br />The story was carried in full in our paper yesterday and it got a lot more interesting.......in 2003 the owner of the distillery received an email from an American complaining that a couple of the webcams of the distillery weren't working. Now the owner thought this was a little strange as no-one else had pointed it out and, he reasoned, who could be that interested in the production area where the stills are? So he did a bit of digging and discovered that it was a DTRA agent in the US who believed that with a few simple tweaks the stills could be used to produce WMD <br /><br />You can see the webcams here <br /><br />and I note that the distillery has added the words "we have nothing to hide" on that page
