Disconnecting water tube

I am changing a 1986 long shaft 15 ha Johnson to a short shaft. How do I remove and reinstall the copper water tube.

Welcome Green Goat!<br /><br />Just measure it and cut it off. Other wise you'll have to pull the power head to replace the tube. Are ya' sure there's not an extension tube in there that you can just remove?

No extention. I don't have room to use a tubing cutter.

Got a Dremmel Tool or know someone that does? That's what I use. The little cut off blade does the trick.
