i currently run several commercial vessels,none of which are oil inj. i am going to disconnect the auto oil on my 1990 merc. 150 was wondering if there was anything to look out for.the oil pump has three wires that run to a box mounted near the pump.i am assuming the tan and blue wire is the alarm circuit because it joins other alarm wires at their union on the other side of the motor. is this all that needs to be done to get rid of the alarm?will this affect any of the other alarms?i also notice a fuel pressure alarm is this needed any more?
