dirty spark plug boots

anynie got any good tips on cleaning these? I got a lot of grease build up on them...or should I just replace 'em?

Squeeze them around a bit and look to see if they have cracks around the hole where the spark plug sticks in. If they are cracked, scrap them. You can clean them with some electrical cleaner. Comes in a squirt can from any auto parts store. They are supposed to have a dab of grease inside, per the service manual.

Just a note that grease is specific plug grease, ask for it at the autoparts place.
