Dirty gas tankf

Fill hose rotted off as boat sat for sale. I bought it , replaced all hoses. I still seam to have trash in tank. I change fuel filters every 2 tanks of gas {110 gallon tank}.Now getting a clear gum ball very mushy about the size of a very small pee in the filters. how do I get this gas tank cleaned ?

The only way that I know of cleaning them, outside of removal??, is to have it pumped out and filtered, before it is pumped back in(Expensive). Some Marine shops offer this service, on and off the Water.

We were having similar problem on our 21.5 ft open, so we ordered to have it pumped out and filtered, before pumped back in. They extratecd water and debris, and now we have piece of mind and separ.filter remains clean longer. Expensive, but effective.

MakoMike <br />If you do decide to have it pumped out, run the tank almost dry, as they usually charge by the gallon. I had mine done and it was $5.00 a Gallon. Good thing I only had 15 Gal. left in the tank!!
