Dimensions for 12' Aluminum Deep V ??

Hi Gang,<br />Does anyone know the dimensions for a 12'(sears) deep V aluminum boat?? (Length - Width - Depth)<br /><br />I'm looking at buying one for our cottage and talked to a guy about one. He told me it was a deep V and was 12' long 4' wide and 2' deep?? Now he's about an hour and a half away to go look at it and I was looking to save myself some time by getting some opinions here on the true dimension. Isn't a deep V a little wider?? Say 5'???<br /><br />Thanks!!

What year Sears is it, I have a 14' 1967 Sears, if would help I can post the dimensions.

Neonbee, <br /><br />I have a 1985 12’ SEARS GameFisher Semi-V Aluminum boat. The exact dimensions of my boat are 12'(L) x 51"(W) x 15.5"(D). The width(w) and depth(d) were measured at the transsom. See this link for pictures and additional info on my boat. As for your boat, Sears did not make their own boats, so some research is in order. <br /><br />EDIT: Are you sure the boat is a Deep-V? I'll bet it's a Semi-V like mine. My boat has no deadrise at the transom and with a beam (width) of 51" it would be very unstable even with minimal deadrise. All the Deep-V boats I have seen have a decent amount of deadrise.

Ain't no deep vee 12 foot alum boats being made. Even if there were you wouldn't want one, they would flip over at the first breeze.
