if your looking for ballpark weight for figuring out towing capacity, etc., its a single axle trailer, assume 800-900

If your looking for a weight to register the trailer in states or locals that require trailer weight when registering, you will need something from the trailer manufacturer or a certified scale on the empty weight.

The reason I ask is because we bought a 1967 Larson 165 Shark on said trailer. It has 5.30-12's on it now that are in bad shape. It is between 1730 and 1905 lbs.as far as I can figure from the internet. The highest rated tires I can legally put on new 1250 lb wheels (4 bolt 4")are 145R12/D rated at 1220 lbs.

That trailer weighs under 450#..

Check Farm Fleet stores in Minnesota, and Fleet Farm stores in Wisconsin, along your route.

The Fleet Farm store in Stevens Point is just a half hour west of Rawhide. And the store in Oshkosh is about a half hour east of Rawhide.

Call the store directly to assure it is in stock. If you give them your name and phone number, they will usually hold the tire for you, for a day or two.

The problem is, that I think you will only find load range C ( 1050# ) in the 5.30 x 12 with 4 hole wheel, as trailers with 4 x 4 pattern usually only had a 2000# axle.

The last time I bought a boat from Rawhide, I took a roadworthy trailer with me, swapped them in their parking lot, and donated their trailer back to them.
