i'm thinking of buying a old jetski and fixin it up..what i'm wondering is how much harder are they to work on vs a 2-stroke outboard engine?

Well I own a I/O so I can't compare a ski to an outboard but my ski seems pretty simple to work on considering I'm an auto tech and last week (before I bought my first ski) knew absolutely nada about a 2 stroke.

Like jeff said sore back and ribs. Sometimes you have to contort yourself to get to some bolts. jwet skis are relatively simple to work on but the parts are just as if not more expensive than a regular boat motor.

I actually have a length of big hollow swim noodle that I split so I can place it on the hull opening to keep from killing your ribs but your back and neck still get a workout.
