Difference between a 1998 250 OX 66 TXRW and a 2001 SX250 TXRZ OX 66

I Have a 1998 Century with twin 250 OX66 TXRW. I had one motor go out on me. I am looking at purchasing a 2001 SX250 TXRZ and using it for my starboard motor. Can anyone tell me what the difference in these motors are? I would love to use my original wiring harness, cables etc. etc. I was told the only difference is the shaft length is 30" instead of mine being 27"? Please help, Snapper season is here and IM dying here!!!!!!!
