I just saw on the mercuiserparts.com. parts book, under carburetor assembly
(walbro),two different part numbers, 1367-6517a28 for the upper carb. and
1367-6517a29. for the lower carb. What is different about these carburetors? The
parts book that came with my engine has only one number for the carburetors,
1367-6517a25 and is this carb. different from the other carbs. This is a 50hp.
4cyl. 2carb. 1985 engine serial number A131226.

THANK YOU ...........HAS

Re: Differeent carburetors ??

Most Merc multi-carb motors have different part numbers for the carbs due to the different linkages involved with their placement (choke, throttle, etc.). The carbs themselves are pretty much identical.
