Difcult time finding correct BF7.5 Honda prop,Help Please??

After ordering two props from different companies, none have fit my old late 70's BF 7.5 hp Honda four stroke, 144cc eng. I have tried a prop from iboats (which were so very helpful trying to get the correct prop)though the prop they mailed me did not fit and then I ordered one from a Honda dealer, which did not fit also. Question? Would any one out there know what prop would fit my old Honda motor? Could it be a Johnson or Evenrude prop that would fit? I am totally lost with this one. Any help would be apreciated. 1st cav grunt,<br />It would help if you tell us "how" it didn't fit.<br />Were the number of splines wrong? <br />Was the shaft diameter too big?<br />Did the prop rub the housing?<br /><br />A few more details and maybe we can help.<br /><br />Nav
