Hello, I have a 2003 75hp Honda which only starts with the choke on, then will idle with the choke off, but if you give any gas, it will die immediately. New plugs, new filters, new seperator, have drained carbs, new gas and have run over a gallon of gas through the system. Any ideas of what needs to be done.

If you know that your compression numbers are adequate and the valves are properly adjusted you will now be looking at carb work.

Carb work, as in cleaning jets, or maybe more involved?

Does it rev on the hose? If so, but not when under load when in the water, look into the enrichment system.

Clean the jets and all passages with compressed air and a fine wire. Set the float to level while upside down, and replace all gaskets.
